Mobile App Developer
Exclr8 is seeking a talented and passionate Mobile Application Developer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality native mobile applications on iOS and/or Android that extend CloudCore to field, warehouse and customer-facing use cases.

iOS, Android, or both?
Either, or both. The role is written for native development on iOS and/or Android, so a strong Swift developer and a strong Kotlin developer are both a fit.
What do the apps actually do?
They extend CloudCore to field, warehouse and customer-facing use cases: barcode scanning, camera capture and location services, integrated with CloudCore REST APIs and push notifications.
Do the apps have to work offline?
Yes, that is a real part of the job. You design offline-first data flows with local storage and sync, because a warehouse or a delivery vehicle is not a place you can assume a connection.
Do I work alone on mobile?
No. You work closely with the web platform team to keep the APIs clean across clients, so the mobile app and the web app are consuming the same well-shaped backend rather than diverging.
Where is the role based?
Cape Town, hybrid. The apps you build run for clients across South Africa, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
