A procurement system routes POs through multi-level approval based on value and category. The workflow dispatches approved orders to suppliers via API and email simultaneously. If the API call fails, the engine retries automatically. When goods are received, the system matches quantities against the original order and flags deviations for review before the invoice is processed.
Supplier invoices arrive; the system compares every line against the PO. Lines that match are allocated automatically. Lines with price or quantity deviations are routed to a human reviewer with the deviation highlighted. The system derives credit notes from confirmed deviations and posts results to the accounting system, a process that took days, now hours.
A multi-store retailer manages device repairs through enforced stage progression: intake, diagnosis, repair, QC, customer return.
