Do I need commercial experience?
No. This role is written for someone early in their career. You learn the stack, the methodology and the business domain in parallel, working alongside senior engineers on real production systems from day one.
What will I actually be working on?
Real production systems rather than training exercises. You build features on CloudCore, our own enterprise platform on Azure, and write, review and test C#, .NET and SQL Server code.
What is the technology stack?
C#, .NET and SQL Server on Microsoft Azure. CloudCore is .NET throughout and Azure-native, so what you learn here is the same stack the whole team ships on.
How does the team work day to day?
In short sprints. You take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, so you see how work is scoped and shipped rather than only being handed tickets.
Where is the role based?
Cape Town, hybrid. The systems you work on run for clients across South Africa, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
